This geocache can be found along the trail encircling Yampa River State Park. Access to the trail can be found just north of the parking lot for the Visitor Center. Follow the trail counter-clockwise. Just after entering the cottonwood forest, there is a Wildlife Viewing Blind (approximately .25 miles). The geocache can be found under the blind a few steps up the ramp. We recommend enjoying the entire 1.5-mile trail for great bird watching and views of the Yampa River. This trail is maintained year-round, including grooming during the winter for ski and snowshoe use. Please keep all dogs on a leash!
