A few years back, a coworker and her husband were the first other cachers I had met when I started caching. She would tell me of off the wall adventures and strange occurrences experienced while pursuing Tupperware and tin cans purposefully hidden all over the planet. Then one day Lori asked me if I would like all of their caching supplies as they were going to step back from caching and pursue other interests. Of course I said I love to have their stuff if they were sure they wouldn't be needing it any more. I ended up receiving a box full of pre-made hides, ammo cans, WITR log sheets, plus a lot of other fun stuff. Some of the containers had been collected up from their original deployment in other states as they had moved to Colorado and had signed log sheets still within them.
This is one of those containers. Nothing fancy but all original including the turtle guardian within.
Hopefully you had the pleasure of finding Link2Loves trek cache before it was archived as it racked up 132 favorite points since 5/26/10 to 6/28/19!

Congratulations to #1Beefers, GanderGoose, and mooseyaround for the FTF!

One of our many DNFs today. Made the walk across the field and started our search. One funny thing was our dog Fred barking and it making a huge echo from the tunnel - quite impressive. did not realize until logging just now that this is a Rohatx hide - feel a little better about our DNF. We EXPECT to DNF one of your caches !!!

I saw this cache wasn't too far from the airport, so I put it on my mental rolodex for today. I have the day off so that I can head to Florida for Leap Day. You know what they say - Proper planning prevents.....
Well, apparently, I dont do that. I parked and took a walk over to the cache. The sun is out and the wind is only slightly blowing. Perfect timing. Then I saw my nemesis. Uh oh. I didnt expect this here. But I searched. And searched and then gave up. As I was walking back to my Jeep I reviewed the cache and discovered something I missed. This is a Rohatx cache. It deserves more effort. His hides are more difficult than most. I turned around and started searching again. With a different mind set I soon had the container in hand. Clever as usual!
Thanks for the cache!

FTF party with Gandergoose and #1Beefers at 1:25pm on 2-1-20. Thank you Rohatx for the cache and placement. The wind beat me up along with the tumbleweeds and rocks but finally made the find. SLFTT TNLN
