I'm visiting a friend (muggle) from St. Louis and today wanted to do the Wherigo and this nearby cache. I'm almost positive I tried to find this one when I was here about 3 years ago but not sure. Anyway, today it was a fairly quick find, although not where I first looked. The Mixed Breed 2.0 (Barney) was more interested in the geese than the cache but he tolerated me, as he always does.

LOL we didn't see anyone fishing today. Just too cold and wet. Peace love pi and I came this way to check out the Wherigo and this one was just too close to ignore. We got to GZ and didn't see anything, so we pulled up previous logs. Based on the last DNF and a couple logs stating exactly where the hide was, we thought it highly likely this one's gone missing. I didn't think I had a replacement container, but sure enough there was one in the glove box. Added a log and this one's back in business. I'll bet this is a super nice place to walk when the weather's nice. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2863.

lasouthpaw and I gave the area a thorough search but came up empty-handed. Given the previous logs we suspected it had gone missing so left replacement container. The CO can delete our log if s/he's unhappy with our maintenance. I usually don't do this for COs I don't know, but it was cold and wet so we did it ;) TFTC!
