You can access easier if you park in the street in front of a little neighbor hangout place N39 52.352 and W105 05.856. Otherwise its a nice walk or bikeride in the open space Big dry creek trail.....whatever you like.

It looks like a truck with a plow drove through and may have taken the log and the cache with it. This is just a speculation. Me and my cousin were looking for it for about 10 min and found nothing.

Feeling a little 'soggy bottom' myself on this really humid day [:p] walking the trails to pick up a couple of caches. Looked around for a bit but then got the call from the local dog show t hat I needed to head back to the venue. Would like to have had a more thorough investigation of the area but totally did not find what I was looking for. Thanks for the walk and fun.
