This was such an awesome adventure! Favorite point for sure. We started our day heading up to Killer Queen to finish the Alphabet Soup The Puzzle Challenge, and then we headed over here. We ended up just parking inside the BLM gate near All Natchurell and hiking from there. Followed the road up to the first powerline tower to the right / east of the gate and then went straight up from there to the top of the ridgeline. Each time you crest a hill you have another one looking down at you and laughing. Once on the top it's just follow the ridgeline. Game trails are the way to go, dodging hidden mini attack cactus the entire way. Every so often we'd come to some old BLM? felled tree fencelines. At one point we stopped and watched the Royal Gorge chopper as it flew right below us into Red Canyon. All along the hike, sparrows I think, kept swooping at me, passing within inches of my face, actually moving my hair. They must nest in the trees up here. The wind was going crazy along the cliff face, but none seems to reach the top. It must have been 95 degrees up here, and we left with some crazy 'September in Colorado' sunburns. The rock/boulder field near GZ is very cool. The views are amazing in every direction. The last online log was 4/2/14, but there are other logs. 6/12/15 BRENT and CARL and 6/25/15 Douglas and Nike 0331. After signing the log we checked out the tower and waymarker. Nice to see security cameras up here. The hike back down the hillside was enjoyable... lol. This was a fun one and we never saw any trash anywhere along the entire hike. Thanks for bringing us here!

Out with Olive today to finally get this one off my to do list. Had a plan to hike up to the top of the hill and then follow the ridge line over to the hide. Getting up the hill was a real treat![:p] Lots of big rocks and bushes to get through.Once we did crest the hill we still had more big rocks and a mine field of cactus to get through!!
When we got to the coordinates we made a quick find because the coordinates were spot on!![8d][8d] Grabbed my trackable to move on. SL TFTC

Estes01 and I have had this on our lists for months but there always seems to be something else to do. Today we got the chance to make the ascent. Estes01's Jeep made it quite a ways up the road to the antenna site but we were stopped by some deep snow in a shadowed cove. Still, with only about a mile and 600 feet of elevation gain to go, all on a nice trail, this beat the alternative of scaling the front side cliff. The view was spectacular at the cache as we endured an annoying beep beep beep from the nearby microwave towers. This is a great example of why we still cache. Traded TB's, TFTC!
