This is a challenge cache and it is at the posted coordinates. To qualify for this geocache find, you must have found a traditional geocache above 14,000' in elevation. Only traditional geocaches count for this challenge and they can be found at any time and anywhere in the world so long as the placement is above 14,000' in elevation. You can sign the log and write a "note" if you do not meet the requirements. All finds will be checked via the Project-GC checker and if they do not meet the requirememnts they will be deleted.

The terrain rating for this one is based on having to go above 14,000' to get the original cache. The actual terrain of this cache is a 1.5,

I didn't get to climb any 14ers last summer although we did a 16er in Peru. Hopefully this summer will be less snow!

I've been climbing 14ers since long before I started geocaching. I currently have 14 finds over 14,000 feet (nice coincidence). I probably have almost as many DNFs above 14,000. Rock pile caches are difficult at any elevation. BigSmile
