The event we went to Springs for was cancelled, so we headed back to Pueblo early. We decided to drive the back roads and pick up the two new caches. It was still cold, but being sunny and not windy wasn’t too bad to be out for a few minutes. Both caches were quick, easy finds, though neither one was what I had anticipated based on my preconceived expectations.

FTF! with nite_raven at 5:40pm. Just got back from a Canon City cache day, dropped everyone back at their houses, and cleaned my yard before tomorrow's snow. Walked inside to cache alerts. nite_raven and I figured why not and headed out. Lots of the Pueblo end of Overton has had the pavement ripped out and is now a dirt road. The pavement ends sign is still in its original spot though. Lol. Might be the first time we've ever been on this road when there wasn't trash dumped right at the county line. Found it right as the sun went down.
