Wow! Fruitbat is 9! How the time flys. Mama's little slugger seems to be geocaching a little less lately, but I'm happy he's hasn't stopped all together. Him and his friends HAD A BALL celebrating his Birthday hitting some balls & warming up for his new start in Little League this upcoming Spring. We hope to also HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK with more caching time this year as the weather warms up.

Picked this one up while in the local area. I can see why the cache has a muggle warning. As I was putting the cache away, two muggles with a baseball bat and catchers gear came out of the building and starting chasing me. Fortunately, they slipped on a banana peel and I made my escape.

I've found a number of these "Fruitbat turns..." caches, so it is interesting to watch the march of time and Fruitbat growing up from a distance. However, I think it is coming time that Berry16 becomes more honest. When Fruitbat turns 16, I think Berry16 needs to change her name to reflect her true age because Fruitbat can't have a higher number. After all, Berry28 doesn't sound so bad. However, all in all, I'm not so sure these caches are a good deal for us finders. Berry16 gets to have all the fun with Fruitbat, while the rest of us just see the march of time and feel older...hhhmmm.
