Yeah, when Vargas plows here, that's just how they do it -- have been doing it since the 1980s when we had offices in exactly these same buildings. But we snagged it this time!

Vargas has been my cache nemesis for years. I had once tried placing larger size caches around Interlocken, but their crack landscaping teams would turn them up every time during either the big Spring or Fall cleanups that they performed. They do take great care of this area.

Still have a few smaller ones around, but will archive those as they inevitably fail since I no longer work in the area, and will not be able to maintain them the way I used to be able to do. One was within mere feet of this one, and was genuinely evil. Used to have the warehouse staff call me when they saw someone thrashing around out in pretty much this same spot. Gave me an opportunity to snap a photo and make introductions with some cachers I hadn't yet met. So have plenty of fond memories of this specific site. Enjoy it!
