Interesting puzzle, glad the container wasn't alive or it would have bitten me in the face. Thanks for the cache

What a day! After work I headed north for the NoCo event. It doesn't start until 6:30, so I have time to grab a few caches first, right? Maybe not. Turns out these events traditionally start early. My arrival 15 minutes early was actually a little late. But I digress.
I started with a puzzle cache. Then to a few traditionals, letterboxes, and then the event. The event was a blast - I even won an ammo can in the drawing! A few quick whereigo's and traditionals afterward and it was time to head south. Wish I could have stayed longer. Ended the night with 22 finds. YA-TAH!
This was my first cache. I solved it a while ago and finally came up north to grab it. I arrived at the GZ and was befuddled. Certain that it was a guardrail cache, my caching OCD kicked in and I searched it at least 7 times. No luck. Then I let my GPS settle and looked toward another likely host. Nearby I saw something in the grass. Is that a snake? I approached and leaned down to look. At the same time my wife called and my phone vibrated in my hand, as if it was a rattlesnake. I chucked my phone across the field before my amygdala calmed down.
After geocaching for my phone I came back up the hill and spotted.... the cache.
Favorite for learning about clouds and my self induced adventure. Tftc!

Today we went out and did 25 puzzle caches that we solved over the last couple of days; we found 22, but didn't find 3, this was one of the finds. FYI, the log is wet. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache!

Amazed myself with all the correct answers without any help. Watching The Weather Channel all these years finally paid off. Live Wire 77 and Short Circuit 77 out caching on the day before the snowstorm hits. We cached our way up to Loveland and back down, ending the day with an event. We found 24 caches: 9 Dr Polley Class, 4 Mondous NATs, with 8 guard rails. Gets a favorite for the hide. Thank you for hiding this cache so we could enjoy the game. sl
