A relative of our original Four and Twenty cache, this will be short walk off a nice neighborhood trail. Some minor bushwhacking required. Plenty of beautiful birds active in this area.
Find should be fairly quick, extracting the log might be the most difficult part. Could need tweezers. Please be gentle with the cache and remove the log only.

Oh what a beautiful morning. I love these crisp autumn mornings. After dropping my son off at school I decided to get another highly favorited cache for the souvenir promotion. I have enough points already but it is still fun to focus on these >10 favorite point caches.

There surprisingly was a muggle on the trail, sans dog too! So I walked past where I needed to go off road and then circled back. And naturally I started on the wrong side of things so after searching for a few minutes did an end around and then restarted my search. Even then it took a few minutes and then I spotted. Like another previous searched mentioned, there is a branch with a lot of camo duct tape around it hanging loosely. I knew that wasn’t the cache so I ignored it but it made me wonder if that was a previous cache or just a previous iteration of this one.

I’m always happy to sign a fresh log, even if it’s a replacement. All is good with this cache now.

This is also an exciting find since it’s my last find before my next big milestone, 2000!

The host was still present, but the log container was missing. We remedied that situation and the cache is ready to find, enjoy and sign.
