Here is another in a series of caches made from Trail Mix or nut jars. This is the 47th. HIdden Mesa is one of Douglas County's open space parks with lots of great trails to wander around on. There are many caches in this park and a hike here to find them all can probably done in a couple hours.

Parking at the trailhead parking lot is limited to about 10 cars. When I went to hide this cache and its buddy Amigo, I got the last available spot.  You can ride a bike around the park too.

Got out on a breezy and chilly mid-winter day with "animjason", to try to find some geocaches before the next big snow storm - this was the second of five of them. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

One advantage of hiking in the cold is no mud or slush today! Finally clearing this park again with Bhob. We did this while BearAdair was at school to save her the frostbite ha. She can come another time.

Second find of five today. Picked up two trackables, and discovered the rest.

Only one more TM to do and we're caught up again. Gets a fave for the hike and series.

Found with roc buff on a hike before the really cold weather sets in. Another fun one in the Trail Mix series.

While hiking and geocaching the loop, the mud became really squishy and slippery, so we decided to backtrack to the parking lot. Great views of the sunlit and snowy mountains on this very clear day.

Elated to see only 1 vehicle in the parking lot! Deflated to spot HD on an adjacent trail, walking away from gz. Elated again to be enjoying a beautiful, blue sky morning in this secluded area. Elated to have another fun TM cache under my belt! Dropped 5 TBs. Cheers!
