The Northwoods Inn in the 70's and 80's used to be the place to go. It was famous for it's steaks and seafood dinners. They gave you unshelled peanuts to snack on while you waited of which you just tossed the shells on the floor. This was long before the Texas Roadhouse. We had many a great "date nights" there. It moved to this location later on in the early 90's.

I'm not sure what it is now but it's a great place for a cache.

7:45:00 AM Out for a ride on the Highline today. I dropped a Colorado Trail hiker off this morning at Waterton - which was the perfect excuse to go for a ride here! I ended up getting lost ( I didn't realize that the canal wasn't continuous) and explored a new bike path near Chatfield. Luckily, since it was Sunday the construction crew wasn't working and I was able to meet back up wtih the canal.. I also had to yield (actually walk my bike) past some very skittish horses. And I quit for the day when I found a rattlesnake guarding a cache. Lots of adventures! Thanks!
