You are looking for a standard ammo box located about 100 feet off the loop trail. No bushwacking required. Please stay on trail as long as possible.

Gateway Mesa Open Space is located off of SH86 between Castle Rock and Franktown. The short entrance road is now marked but comes up quickly. The parking area is at N39 23.276, W104 48.143.

No theme, just enjoy the hike and the views of the front range.

Mokidog and I actually walked up a different trail to get to this cache. Loved this rock and the really cool trees to the west. Thanks to the CO for creating this cache so we can all enjoy this recreation and the great outdoors!

Found it on a beautiful January hike with the family. TFTC! There were a few surprise trackables, never found one in the wild before. Took one and left the others.
