OLD FOUR EYES





In January 2005 Old Four Eyes hid his first cache called GODSPEAK, GCMF3K. That cache had 30 finds and 15 favorite points in the time it was active. Sadly for us God called Old Four Eyes home not long after the cache was published. His wife(The Doll) has tried to keep it going but the time has come for it to be archived. This multi uses part of the cache he created and is a tribute to his life.

Old Four Eyes was born and raised in North Dakota where he met and married the love of his life, The Doll. He became an Army physician specializing in internal medicine. They raised two daughters as they traveled the world and were stationed in places like Hawaii and Germany before settling in Colorado. They discovered geocaching when the game was still very new and encouraged others to join them in the adventure. He is still missed by many.

 

This cache is a two stage multi with a puzzle to solve for the final coordinates. The first stage has clue sheets that you may take and has a copy permanently attached to the inside of the container.

Finally, finally! After solving this years ago I attempted to climb up here and got stuck in a bad spot. Today RPieperco helped me find a better way up to the cache. Amazing views. I love how green everything is right now. Thanks for keeping this one going!

I'll get over there this weekend.

6/1/17 update: I picked up what was left of the container at the first stop today. I'll try to get a replacement put together in the next week or so.
