About a month ago, Boombear and I chatted about a trip to the USA to help get us both to 2000 caches this year. A few ideas were thrown around, but the MOGA caches and GeoArt near Lincoln gave us 1000 puzzle caches, so we decided to plan a 500+ puzzle cache day. Tickets were bought and we started solving the puzzles. Soon enough, we had over 1400 caches in our bookmark lists with only 2.5 days of caching. This included driving from Denver with a lot of detours on the way. We accomplished our two primary goals of 500+ puzzle caches and finding Mingo. We threw in an extra 150 caches, 6 states, 30 Wherigos, and a whole lot of fun.

Greetings from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have been on a quest to find 2000+ caches a year for three consecutive years for a challenge cache I am working on (currently one down and two to go). 2018 has been a solid year so far, but as the year winds down I knew I would have to have to insert some power caching to reach 2 millenniums - cue this adventure. A special trip was planned with my good friend Ninja Fairies to come down this way with a few lofty goals in mind. A target we had set was to get 500+ puzzles in a day and the Nebraska area had those kinds of options and then some. Being in and around this area there was also a nearly endless string of possible caches that we would want to get, among them "Mingo", many challenge caches, web cams, virtuals, older caches, ones with lots of favourite points, larges - yes I can get quite excited by the hobby. Upon researching flights etc. we decided that flying into Denver and working our way in an eastern loop would be our best option. This cache was one of our many stops of an adventure I will never forget. When the final count came in we ended up finding geocaches in 6 different states in 3 days and our finds total was around 600. Thanks for being a part of this memory. TFTC.

Turns out I was right here last night grocery shopping. Came back this morning looking for this cache which should help with my Charter member challenge. Easy find, cache was in good shape.
