Thanks for the fun puzzle Qaz! I set out to find this one, but did not have my GPS or coords in the phone! Lol! I knew "where" it was, but, wow, that's a lot of pine trees! And looking for a bison tube.. Ugh! Took some time but eventually added my stamp to the log! Thanks for placing this one!

We solved this puzzle awhile back with a nudge from the CO on one aspect of it. We decided today was perfect for the find as a bit of winter is due in to Colorado Springs tomorrow. This area is so beautiful and we enjoyed our "hike" to GZ. gampa spotted the container very quickly and we had the log signed and replaced in no time. We avoided all the construction equipment on our way back to the car, and we were pleased to run into the CO on his lunch break in the parking lot! Thanks for the fun cache in a gorgeous part of our city.

The puzzle took me quite a long time to solve. I finally made it up here to look for the cache and as I arrived at GZ I saw the pine tree. Many pine trees. Arrrrrgh.! Pine tree hides rarely pop out at me and this one was no exception. After a 30 minute search I was beginning to doubt by coordinates so I sat down and pulled up the cache and saw the geochecker. My coordinated check out so I restarted my search. Finally after another 10 minutes I finally spotted it. I had search there a couple of time in the past, but I just missed it. As I was searching I watched someone wade across the spillway. Probably not a wise move. BTW, I hike up to the lake shown in the photo. It was frozen over in late June. Thanks for the puzzle!

After finding the Monument Lake Beaver Dam cache, I wandered farther around the lake to find this cache, I made it to GZ and found myself alone as expected. I started to search for the indicated bison which was elusive as I wandered around in circles checking out all of the possible hiding spots. Suddenly, I heard something and looked in that direction to see the same fisherman that had passed me earlier, (see my Monument Lake Beaver Dam log) had set up directly below me. I quietly continued my search and finally spotted the well camo'ed container. After replacing it, I quietly made my exit from the area undetected...TFTC SL

Nice spot to take a break! The direction we came to this cache reminded me of the pig trails I follow when caching in Texas. Kids went down to the water to clean up the mud while I searched for the cache. Lots of options but finally spotted the cache. Thanks for the fun puzzle!
