This quick park and grab is dedicated to the fabulous men and women volunteers of the Alpine Rescue Team.  Their headquarters is located just down the road, hopefully I'll never need their help Geocaching! Alpine Rescue Team has responded to wilderness emergencies since 1959: providing mountain search and rescue, day or night, 24/7. Alpine Rescue Team's help is free to any individual or agency in need of our expertise and assistance. To postpone a call-for-help because of financial concerns could cost a life. The Team believes that all humanitarian wilderness search-and-rescue efforts, statewide, should be free to any individual. Alpine is one of only twelve mountain rescue teams in the state of Colorado that is fully accredited by the Mountain Rescue Association, an international organization of teams specializing in mountain search and rescue, and safety education. Alpine Rescue Team members are highly trained non-paid professional rescue-mountaineers based in Evergreen, Colorado.

Made the quick find on way to work. Very appreciative of the work the ART does.

Before pulling up, I didn't understand the cache name. But once here, I understood. Well placed. Last cache of our day.
Today windatmyback and I left Aurora and headed to Evergreen in hope of an FTF. We grabbed caches that seemed snow friendly. Then we headed east before the next snow storm rolled in.
Thanks for the cache!

The last of our 'we have a few hours to burn, it's 60 degrees outside, and we need to find some geocaches' Sunday afternoon. Gets a favorite for recognizing the SAR team - thank you all for your efforts!!
