Part of a small series of caches pertaining to Greek Mythology. I hope you enjoy learning about these times as much as I do!

n Greek mythology, Triton is the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite and lives with them in a golden palace in the depths of the sea. He rides the waves on horses and sea monsters and he carries a twisted conch shell, upon which he blows either violently or gently, to stir up or calm the waves. Triton is represented as having the body of a man with the tail of a fish, but sometimes also with the forefeet of a horse.

In later times there was a multiplicity of Tritons, each attending the various divinities associated with the sea.

Once we learned about the Hidden Creature Challenge we knew we would have to travel in order to complete the challenge. We simply did not have one hundred caches within 40 miles to be able to log. Since we had not been in the Pueblo area for years we decided to cache our way to and then in the area.

Our second day of caching in and around the Pueblo area before heading home, included more maintenance on 10 more caches. We replaced caches, logs and containers on ignored caches by the owners. We had completed the Hidden Creature Challenge yesterday but enjoyed the new area while adding to our numbers. SL, TFTC
