Oh so disappointed! We stayed low on the snow shoe tracked trail & bypassed the 4 new caches. When we got to the saddle cache we broke trail up to it and stayed on the ridge making our way back east picking up the caches sling the way including Trail Mix. Got to this one as the final and were thrilled to see a nice snag with a big hole in it at GZ. Pulled many pine cones out yet there was no cache. Dug all around the base at least 5’ out with the avalanche shovel but still no cache or any laying down dead wood. So either it isn’t where we had hoped or it is no longer.

I hiked 3.2 miles around the park today. It was my second trip up here, and last time I could only get 4 of the caches. I found 6 more today! This is a great place to get away from city sounds for a short time. Thanks for this cache - I was glad for a different style of placement than several of the others nearby to round out the adventure.
