The geocache is at the posted coordinates however, this is a challenge cache. You can sign the log at any time but you must meet the listed requirement before you can claim a find online. In accordance with the new geocaching guidelines, the difficulty rating is based on the challenge and the terrain rating is based on the terrain for this cache.

We traveled from Colorado Springs to Northern Colorado today to do a little caching. We decided to try and find these Challenge caches as we qualify for most of them. We parked at the dog park and hiked both directions. We had mixed results on the finds. Thanks for placing this challenge cache for us to find today. We qualify for this one.

I guess I've gone for enough simple caches to well qualify for this one:

Other than events, these 1/1 caches are getting harder to come by. I have found 503 "1/1" !caches. TFTC

I imagine that for cachers specializing in the more difficult caches this one might be hard. Me, I tend to look for easier caches when 'm traveling to make caching easier, so I had no trouble with this one. I ran the checker:

I came up with my boys to visit my dad and stopped for a trail run on our way. I have found 228 1x1 caches to date. Thanks for the challenge!

My #2475 with David working on the NoCo Challenges. I live in Pennsylvania but completed many of these. I spotted this one after a few minute search. Blue heron in pond. It looks like I have 166 1x1s at the moment. TFTC.
