About the Series

I wondered for a while what sort of a cache series would make sense for me. Then I suddenly realized I could combine geocaching with another of my hobbies. I'm a specialty coffee freak. I'm a trained barista, roast my own coffee (on a Gene Café roaster), have a quite serious home espresso machine (Quickmill Vetrano 2b Evo), and regard cappuccino as one of the basic food groups. Thus was born the Cuppa Chino series. These will be placed near coffee-related sites that I find interesting.

These will probably be mostly cache and dashes, just because of the locations, but I'll try to watch for the opportunity to do a challenging hide from time to time.

Taking advantage of the fact that this establishment isn't open yet. I imagine it will be a concentrated muggle area in a few months. Well placed.
Today I decided that the snow on the ground and the chilly temps (27 degrees) weren't going to stop me from geocaching this afternoon and evening. I walked along paths and sometimes stomped my way through fresh snow. Looking forward to the spring.

So you heard the story from FeartheFish in his log missing a couple of details. First we were not at Chicken Shack but were at Hickory House which is just next door to this cache. Second, while FtF was talking to the "bossman" I went back over and looked in the area where he had previously been looking and found the cache. TFTC!
