Wait, have I been here before? This place looks vaguely familiar......    Yes, you might have!

The original Jinxer's Crossroads was a mere 30 or so feet away, but changes were made to its host that made it inhospitable for a geocache.  And so here we are again with a slightly different type of hide.  And another chance for a smiley to those who have visited before.

My home is within a strong stone's throw of this spot, so it is a crossroads that I frequent often, whether it be to walk kids to and from school, take the dog out for a walk, or to watch bats swoop overhead at dusk in the summer.

Wanted to get this one early, but did sleep in a bit. I knew this one would already have an FTF, but STF isn't bad either. Nice container. Thank you for this placement Jinxer05.

[FTF] 01-18-2022 at 6:19 am. Yesterday I saw this publish, a mere 1.73 miles from my house. I could run there... if I ran. But unfortunately, I wasn't home and didn't get back until late. So bright and early, before the sun rose, the next morning I headed over to the GZ. It was a short walk to the crossroads. One thing that struck me - it wasn't a rock thrown by Jinxer to chase me off - was the quietness. No dogs barking. It's odd to be on a path without nearby dogs alerting their owners that a freak like me is nearby and obviously up to no good. In peace I stamped my name on the log in pole position, tucked everything back where it I found it, and scampered back to the Jeep to warm up. Should have worn my jacket.
