I’m getting close to 500! This guy was a nice one to get me Into the park and off the beaten path. TFTC

I definitely saw the resemblance to Easter Island. I was not expecting a trail as good as what we found. There was tree cover the entire way and no bushwhacking through shrub oak as I was kind of suspecting. TFTC.

Found this one on day 2,327 of my current geocaching streak. Since I came off the CDT last year, I really haven’t returned to the mountains. In that time both my fitness level, mind and log writing skills have turned to mush while I’ve digested all of the 1.5s/1.5s caches to keep my streak going. I’ve finally decided it is time to get back on the trail. I cleared this area of all of the caches I was interested in back in 2013, but like vegetation, new ones have grown back. I decided this “new” (to me) cluster (GC7025Y Amazing Grace, GC6ZBY4 Easter in January, GC6ZNHX Inside the Loop, GC6ZNHR High Above Hunters Run, GC1413R Bark, GC6ZD4R High Above High Drive) placed by the usual suspects seemed like a perfect warm up hike.

This one was my second target of the day. I came over from GC7025Y Amazing Grace, hand railing the draw by negotiating the slope to the north. There was plenty of “goat trails” to follow, so the route was not too difficult. It isn’t quite Easter yet, but I managed to make the find definitely closer than January. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with this cache. The CO did rate this 3 Terrain, so I fully expected to have to climb the Moai and was surprised when this was not the case (*cough, cough*). Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

Need to get in some late logs- on a couple of my wife & my recent visits our internet was sketchy; and we've been swamped otherwise. I made a circuit to here & points southwest; figures another one would appear- higher up- after I was gone Shock

Going over & over the map trying to look up caches I managed to miss logging this past fall. I think I came down this neat, little-used trail from the sec. 16/ High Drive loop trail with no trouble locating all the caches I tried for.

Nice day for a hike near Section 16. Quick find. Signed log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

The beads might just come in handy here shortly being it's Lent now. I don't know about the terrain rating given the path I came, but still is a good looking cache as is. Tftc Ernie.

This was our second time on this trail. Very enjoyable hike. The way points helped a lot. The container was easy to find, especially after looking at the photos. Left a TB for the next cacher to pick up and move along.

My original plans had been scrapped today because of the threat of storms. Since nothing materialized I decided to explore a trail I've not been on previously. So far a few sprinkles have come along otherwise it's been a beautiful morning for a hike! Sl, thanks!

I was hoping to get 5 caches in the area today but ran short on time so I finished up with this one. Thanks to Ernie for his usual outstanding placement! All is well with the container and the log. IN - A name tag holder OUT - Nothing TFTH!!
