A maybe not-so-easy to find nano.
I have been out this way maybe 4 times and every time I marvel at the sign just before you get to the GC1H2X3-Mondo's Canyonlands NP cache. The first time I was here I was mystified about the sign as I drove by but came up short a few moments later when a runway appeared right beside the road. Talk about giving you a shock. Everytime I have come up here since I have always driven by the sign and continued on to the runway where I continue to be amused. But where is the other end of the runway? This cache will take you there.

Before any of you decided to take a shortcut and drive down the runway, DON'T. Just approach it from the east, or west and have a great time looking for it.

TFTC! 100th geocache! Out for the 4th of July weekend! Container is no longer a nano.

The area of the cache had been burned and so was the cache. Container was melted but the log was fine so I replaced the container and put the old log into it.

It looks like a controlled burn was done in this area. We found the container melted and the baggie was melted too. The log was in great shape. After signing the log, Lord Mike replaced the container.
