Drainage in area of Mesa View and surrounding areas can be a trick, wandering in and out among houses, seeking the South Platte eventually.  This location is easy to reach with a short walk among the grasses.  There is parking at Estates Park on West Ellsworth Drive or one can enter from the north from one of the streets that dead-ends at the park.  BYOP.

Congratulations to dtvman for the first to find.

WOO-HOO! I was in the neighborhood today for a nearby meeting and was so excited to grab a cache and earn my Duces Wild Souvenir. Today is 2/2/22, and I hiked through the snow to find this one. Lot's of kids out sledding with the snow day from school. It took some searching and digging through the deep snow to finally deliver the goods. I stamped my name and headed back up the hill, only to realize the Duces Wild souvenir isn't until 2/22/22! D'OH! It was still a fun walk in the park, SL TFTC!

I went on a January bike ride of 14 miles today for some much needed recreation including finding 21 geocaches. I found this one at 1:38 pm after riding 2.9 miles to get here. Thanks for the cache!

Quick find after a short walk from the other side of the park.
Interesting spot.
Wondering where the "river" goes.

Spent a lot of time trying to get close to cache. The streets around here don't connect very well. Wound up walking from where I had parked for the other cache in this park. Not too bad of a walk. A little slick on the sidewalk. Once I got down to the right area it was an easy find. TFTC SL
