Steamboat Springs is a wonderful place to ski or snowshoe in the Winter and hike or bike in the Summer. There are beautiful views and interesting wildlife. I have seen moose near this spot several times in Summer and watched a fox not far away while placing this cache.

This cache was setup for all year access. It can be accessed by skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or biking very close to the location. If you access this in Winter, please be careful of tree wells that can form near the base of trees.

Please be aware of the wildlife all year round, and wait to access this cache until they are not nearby.

Came by and checked on the cache and log. All in good order.
This cache is near a main ski run. When there is a lot of powder in Winter, it may be easier to snowshoe to GZ.

Found today while out skiing the trails. This one is more meant for the summer time as I had to walk through waist deep snow

We were lazy and drove up to the lift and walked the .2 mile or so. There were some closed and bike trails that got closer than the walking ones so it took a little longer than expected. Great place and views. Took a while to find the well camoed container. Thanks for placing this one and for ebbt geofun! Greetings from Houston!

Such a beautiful view of sleeping giant on our way to this spot. Found one close by and decided to go for this one. Trying to avoid the bike trails so not quite as quick as we hoped. Love Steamboat all seasons! TFTC
