This cache is dedicated to the men and women firefighters, who battled a fast moving blaze The Apex Fire, up here last November.  The burn scars are still fresh, and as I far I can tell thanks to their efforts, we only lost 1 geocache in the fire, and nearby homes were spared. .  This is a bison tube not far from the trail.  Happy Hunting BYOP.

A beautiful, winter day for a 2.5 hr hike in Apex. Hiked up Apex and Sluice Box and then down Pick-n-Sledge to Argos and the parking lot. This one took me a while to find as my phone wanted me about 25 ft down the hill. Great views on the way down. Cheers!

It was such a nice day that I took the long way to this one to get in a good hike. Looked in a few wrong places first, but there it was! Signed a blank log FTF at 1:20 pm. Thanks for the hike, the views and the cache!
