”Alien Blogger here again,

I believed my blog post, GC826PG, would be my last, but they haven’t found me yet. I have poured over the documents and discovered that the aliens are using a new type of communication. I was able to retrieve the communication and decode it. Be warned, the message is terrifying. Here is what it said, “Today is the end of humanity as you know it. We have landed in several locations and have control over the air, land, and sea. Your military cannot help you. Resistance is futile.” The transmission was followed by coordinates to this location. I urge all of you to prepare. Please gather at this location and search for the alien pod (cache). Sign it if you find it and search for others."

Must be in the junipers somewhere. Too prickly!

Didn't see it, though I did see the nearby benchmark and what I thought might be the hiding place. Emailing the owner for a hint.

Sorry for the late log---but finally found it before taking off for a wedding. Thanks to the previous finder as that was one really tough find for us---maybe 5 trips to this one but our name is there. TFTC

My #2866 with David walking around our daughter’s neighborhood. This is now the closest cache to her house. We looked for this one briefly when we arrived from Pennsylvania last Tuesday, but phone had me a little north of GZ and there was traffic and I felt conspicuous. So we moved on. Today, after reading all previous logs, we returned. I found the container quickly. However, I didn’t have my pocket knife and its tweezers on me Plane flight and knife are incompatible. Yes, I saw some previous finders had needed TOTT. After a few minutes of frustration, we took the part containing the log back to daughter’s house to retrieve the log. I figured the probability of someone looking for it this early on Sunday morning was pretty slim. We’d be back before anyone figured it was missing. Taking a cache home is definitely not something I’ve ever done. I replaced the log more vertically in the container, but future finders should heed the need for tweezers and pen. Picture is of log on my daughter’s floor. TFTC.

I knew what I was probably looking for but it wasn’t that easy to spot. The Invasion is everywhere!

This one was a stumper until five other cachers showed up and brought caching luck with them. All of a sudden, the elusive little devil revealed itself and we signed the log with relief! Thanks for the cache and what turned out to be a fun search!

It took 6 of us to find this one today. Kroozer was there when I arrived and a family of cachers showed up and ended up making the find for the group. Yay. Thanks for the invasion cache! 312 pm.

FTF at 8:40am.

The invasion apparently has overwhelmed the Denver area because there are still landings that have yet to be discovered! This was one of them and was too close for comfort to my home.

Since apparently the CO has succeeded in scaring most people away from his hides, I decided I would take one for the team and hunt this sucker down. Stealth is absolutely impossible. I may as well have worn a sandwich board that said "I'm a geocacher, I'm looking for a container, I'm not looking for drugs," around my neck. Actually, that would probably be too many words for a sign like that. Anyway, thankfully no sign was needed as no one stopped to ask about me looking for drugs.

It did take a little while to locate the container because of the snow, but locate it I did! The log was difficult to extract but the right TOTT assisted with that. I replaced as I found it and am glad to get another FTF and another T5M cache.

Thanks for the hide T5M. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.
