DO NOT HIKE IN FROM THE CEMETERY!!

The property owner is not a nice person and as been known to assault trespassers and have them arrested!!

This cache is in honor of the best friend a guy can have.

He may have moved on to new adventures, but he will always be in my thoughts on every hike!

I needed a hike today. So after picking up some last minute items at the grocery store I decided to head over here for a short hike. Found the cache and signed the log. Thanks for an excuse to hike this trail again. Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the fun cache! Perfect location and tribute!

After work today I headed over to Manitou on orders from the Mrs to get out before the weather changes. Well, you don't need to tell me twice! I've had 2 caches here I've been eyeing for some time and it just seemed the right time.

Plan my parking and route well. Decent hike with plenty of elevation gain to the other cache, but this was the last one. I hate going down and back up, but I was determined!

Here's where the fun began. I'll say it up front, but I didn't know at the time... The coordinates I had saved we verified within 100' and took me to a location that looked promising. However.... I did not know I was in the potential middle of a 200' search area! Yikes! Well as time passed I finally read the page and hint... Doh! But.... Again... I'm stubborn... I went to where my coords were closest... More time... OMG!!! Then I see the note from the checker and I realize my mistake. Just a minute later I had the cache in hand. I'd stood right next to it! ha ha ha!

I signed the log after reading through it. Some interesting muggle "signatures" in there. I laughed at many! As others have mentioned the lid is missing and only serves as a "roof" to the logbook that is barely covered in a plastic bag that's been chewed. I really wish I had something with me that could have helped out.

Thanks again for the fantastic hike and great views! Loved the adventure!

Great hike, nice day! This is a new trail for me. Nice location. Final is in pretty bad shape - lid is gone and contents are covered by the overturned container with a rock holding it all down. TFTC!

Goal of my hike this am... Last one for this visit. I came straight up from the cemetery since it's closest to the house.... Those guys who mentioned it before : I'm dubbing it "Incline #2" ! !
Thanks for an amazing view of the Springs'

Grabbed this one this morning after Old Ironsides. Those cactus can be treacherous. I am still picking the spines out of my butt. Yah, I just HAD to sit down and rest.
TFTC!
