There use to be an early truck stop and cafe here, before there was an Interstate. My grandparents lived in La Veta and this was the halfway point between Pueblo and La Veta. When us kiddos stayed for awhile with with our grandparents this was the place to pick-up or drop us off, especially when my Dad's time was limited, because he worked at the Steel Mill. This was a special place, with lots of memories, to hide my cache!

We are on the way home to Arizona after attending a memorial service for Mrs. R.'s Aunt (She was her last living Aunt and her favorite). After much searching, we found what we thought might have been the container, however, it appeared to have been run over and contained no log. Consequently, we made up another container w/log and inserted it into the "original container". We placed it a little but South of the posted coordinates. Message will be sent to Cache Owner.

Stopped to renavigate our route for the day and noticed I was 100 feet away from a cache...sweet! Lots of aunts, but cache is still in good shape. TFTC!
