Rock hides usually end badly for me, but this time I was able to find it quickly.

Found it quickly but took a long time to get it open. Log damp, dried it out a bit in the sun.

Found it with no issues. Had to wait a few minutes for a curious muggle to leave the area. TFTC

Thought we had the right spot, just couldn’t locate the cache. ??

Found it 03/16/2020 By soloyo
Mrs Soloyo had to get this one on the way back to the car. On the way out we thought we had found the cache in the rocks which was a small blue pill bottle but it had no log. So we put a piece a paper in it, signed it and went on our way. On the way back Mrs. Soloyo said she wanted to take one more look to see if we had found the real cache. Low and behold she found the real one so we took the pill bottle back to the trash barrel. TFTC.

Easy snag... I was on the hunt for the special TMNT Travel bug. Im glad he was still there. What a perfect spot for it... right by a smelly water treatment plant. TFTC. It’s in great shape.

Out with DaWife grabbing a few caches on a sunny and warm afternoon. Not my favorite place to look for a cache, but it was a pretty quick find, TFTC.

First find of the day! TFTC!!!

TFTC Found this cache after work on the first day of February. The sun just peaked over the horizon and the sky is clear. I feel like the odd man out as I am the only one without a stamp to sign the log with.

It was a good weather day for a cache drive with walk-to caches. Parked at Walmart and walked to GZ. This type hide always makes me groan although it was manageable today. This was the last cache of the day. Thanks for the new cache, rssoren!

Out grabbing a few of the new caches in the area. Enjoyed the short walk to GZ while listening to the pirarie dogs barking. Once I got to GZ, I just shook my head and said a couple of choice words and gutted it out even though these types of hides are not one of my favorites. Took a few minutes to finally have it hand. You just have to look at the right angle to spot it. Coords are spot on!! Very nice hide and camo, TNLN, SL,TFTC

I was at home eating dinner when I heard three rapid email pings in a row. Hmmm... could it be??? Yes, new caches. And one was pretty close to home. Do I want to battle the dark and the snow to give one a go? LOL that's a silly question. Yes, I am just crazy enough to do this. I start shoveling food in my face faster, wrangle up gloves and scarf, make sure I have a pen, and I'm off. I quickly find out the roads have gotten much worse in the last hour and slow waaaaay down. Park over at the Firestone and hop out of the car. Again, I quickly find out how slick conditions are as I slip and slide down the hill and then down the path. As much as I complain about snow, I find I do like walking in the snow in the dark. Or slipping in the snow in the dark. First I spend waaaaay too much time in the wrong spot and then realize altitude can make a difference. Realized there was another level and once in the right spot I got lucky and started my search in just the right spot to make the find. I put the container down and I start going through my pockets, rifling for my pen. Not in the vest... not in the coat. Really??? Check again. No dice. Seriously??? How can I make such a rookie mistake? Do I need to go back to the car? Well, let me open it up and see if the log is blank. YES! It is! And even better... the kind COs put a pencil in the cache!!! Whoo hoo!!! I was shivering and talking on the phone while signing the log, hopefully folks can read the chicken scratches. Took a celebratory pic of the log and I was happily slipping and sliding back to the car. Get back and slide into my seat. Something feels funny... oh, it's just my pen in my back pocket!!! Thank you for the smiley and the {*FTF*} at 7 pm. Find #3130
