Future cachers - the very small parking lot within a couple hundred feet of the Geocache location was open when we went by today. We parked at the trailhead about half a mile to the east and started walking. Got very close to the cache site and there were five or six cars parked there. No worries, found the cache, and signed the log. The container is still missing the lid, and the log sheet is still dry. Placed it back and headed back to the car. Tftc!

Came to this one to fill a square on the fizzy challenge. Still missing a lid. Log shows evidence of water logging, but was dry today. Took nothing, left nothing, signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

Found this one because of the D/T rating. The lid is missing but the cache is amazingly not wet inside. Thanks for the fun!

Stopped by today and made the grab. The parking is still closed but the trail is open and I managed to find a spot to park not too far away. TFTC

Did not seem like a "4" for terrain, but it was a bit of a climb.

Goodcache, left a Superman figure from Kinder Egg.
Was wide open so we covered it a bit

Ok, I really zoned in on this one for the d/t rating. Knowing that it was a tree climb, I loaded up my ladder to help give me an easier start. We got to the park which was unfortunately closed and the entrance road was blocked off. Not to be detoured, I unloaded my ladder and started walking toward the cache. When I got there, I read, like really read, the description and realized that this wasn’t a tree climb at all and I just stood there (with ladder in tow) and just laughed and laughed. Still chuckling, I left the ladder at the bottom and made my way up to the cache. Found it easily and in good shape. It was pretty cool that there was a Going Caching card of a friend of mine from North Carolina in the cache. Such a small wonderful world. Thanks for a humbling find.

Last cache of the day. I had a long list of cache but it just wasn't to be. My flight was late last night getting in so I was beat and had trouble getting up this morning. Then I got breakfast at the hotel and didn't get on the road until almost 11. There were some quirks trying to figure out the cars2go app and the car itself. I also had a few wrong turns especially when trying to get to this one. I missed the turn into the parking area and had to drive much farther along, then turning around and realized there were no uturn places anywhere so the roundabout through the costco and 20 something minutes later I was back to the entry way. Then I managed to find it pretty quick. This was awesome to fill in a fizzy square. Thanks for the cache.
