Approaching GZ, the stump of a recently cut down tree was revealed. It seemed likely it had been the host and the cache was now gone. Darn. I glanced around, without expecting much, and there was the container intact on the ground nearby! Signed the log and left the container concealed. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

Back in March I was foolish enough to sign a challenge requiring me to find a mystery cache on every calendar day of the year. Since then I have been diligently working on this quest and making sure to grab puzzles on the appropriate days.
Well, today was one of those days. Herndonrd was kind enough to confirm that I had arrived at the right final location so I was a bit perplexed when I came up empty at the final. I phoned herndonrd who did confirm that I was in the right place and that the container should be there. After some discussion we concluded that this one had fled the proverbial coop. Fortunately I had an appropriate replacement container in the car and was able to save you a maintenance trip and simultaneously get my puzzle for the day.

Thanks for another fun puzzle and for helping me get one day closer to completing this ridiculous challenge.

Tftc! Had the distance of two swapped and it set us about 200 feet away at first. Glad we caught our mistake!

I love it when I'm finally able to clear one of those pesky blue question marks off my map. I was surprised when I saw where this one was.
