Although the road is a two-track dirt road, you can drive directly to this cache in a car as long as you take it slow.

High Point Buffalo

This is a unique spot that can only be found once in all of Nebraska. Take in the beautiful view and the local unique "wildlife." My GPS V showed an elevation of 5432ft and an EPE of 16ft at the time of the fix.

To claim this cache, email me with answers to the following questions:

1. What is it?

2. What is its name?

Be sure to check out Tri-State Corner while you're in the area.

The road leading to this virtual cache is indeed a public access road. The road is a bit rough, but definitely passable by car. Take it slow if you're in a car for there are some ruts that may cause you to high center if you're not careful.

Congratulations to the first finders:

We finally found the right road to the cache after driving around in circles. Found a better route out. Thanks for the virtual.

3:23 PM I was in Denver this week on business. Afterward, my wife and I are now driving through the northeast CO counties and points of interest in KS, NE and WY.

This was one of the main objectives of our trip. This is about the sixth state summit for me. Not the highest, but certainly not the lowest.

Email sent. Thanks, 3/4 Irish - Team StarBrand, for setting up the cache for me to find.

We were out doing prairie caches in Colorado about 4 years ago and tried to reach this cache, but there were too many "roads" that weren't roads on the gps, and we ended up abandoning the plan. Today, while on our way to Cabela's, we decided to take a side trip and find this cache. We enjoyed the drive on a beautiful fall day and loved the bison. Thanks for the cache and a reason to wander out onto the beautiful prairies of Nebrasa. Answers sent.

Visiting from the UK, we are on a 3 week road trip taking in 11 states Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Kanas, driving approximately 3500 miles.

We set off from Cheyenne at 10am with numerous stops on the itinerary on the way to Nebraska including the CO/NE/WY tri border point, panorama point, Kimbell and the Scottsbluff National Monument. In total we found three virtual, five traditionals and one earthcache.

We saw some fantastic scenery and had really good time at each cache, thank you to all the cache owners, answers sent to CO where applicable. M0zez and The Ice Cream Man.

Found during a quick visit to CO, KS, NE and WY over the weekend with mikbalt and 81Rich, who also sent in the answers. Another high point, another smiley. I climbed Katahdin in early June, which was a fantastic and a challenging hike. It turns out, in elevation, it is lower than Nebraska's high point :-) Thank you for maintaining this cache!
