A fairly easy, large cache located in the Big Dry Creek open space.

 


After discovering the wonderful pastime of Geocaching I knew I wanted to place my own cache. This is my first hide not far from my home in Broomfield. In addition to being a great place for Geocaching, the Big Dry Creek open space is a great place for families to hike and bicycle as well. The trails are flat and you can go all the way to Stanley Lake.

You are looking for a Tupperware container. The original ammo can was stolen.. This container is failrly large so you shouldn't have too much trouble. The can has a few swa items. The cache is a bit off the trail but there are a lot of bicyclists so you might need to be a little stealthy. A word of warning, there are fox tails everywhere. Have fun and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful morning for a walk. The ground was a little mushy so it's best to come here when it's dry. A lot less mud on your shoes that way. Tftc

Always sucks when you get back to your car and realize you're missing a glove of course it would be this one that's the farthest away from where I was parked. At least I found it, just got it last week.
