The Cache is NOT at the posted coords. Honest. Going there would be an extreme waste of time and effort – solve the puzzle, OR use the pictures to get to the cache.

Note : the puzzle changed 3/20/2014 and the cache is not in the tree where it originally was placed. It is about 50 feet away. Signal bounce. Use spoiler photo if you need to.

Hiking_fool put this out on December 24th and had originally planned to make it a simple cache called Christmas Eve Cache, but … change of plans. Now, solve the puzzle below to get the coords to the cache, or use the pictures.

The large sandstone rock in the picture (taken from behind the rock) is 184' and 138 degrees (true) from the rock that hikerRon is on. From hikerRon, go about 28' on a bearing of 150 degrees (true). You'll be looking for a camoed pill bottle.

Fun puzzle to solve and wonderful area to enjoy a hike on a gorgeous Mother's Day. After a week of rain and fog, the sunshine was glorious. Arriving at GZ, we knew we had a long search ahead of us. So many hidey-holes, so little time! We did our best for awhile and then succumbed to peeking at the spoiler photo. Bingo! Quick find after that. Almost a year lonely we signed the log and replaced container as found. Thanks for this great cache with beautiful views!

Out on a the first hike since the treacherous Tragedy cache last fall. I figured I'd be dragging Rick down on the climb, but this was much more doable than the hill that hides Tragedy. In fact the whole trip with searching and the round about path, which I calculate to be about 2 miles from his car to where we left my car. Awesome fun day even with the bit of rain we caught. TFTC!

Thanks for the cache! I've had this one solved for a little while. I just never found myself up in the area. Today THeSKuLL and I decided to have a go at the mountain up behind this cache to grab a bunch. We did pretty well for our first hike of the year! We'll not mention the extra pounds that may or may not have been added since last fall! Wink This was our last stop of the day. For me the most painful! I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and we bushwhacked to this one from across the area. I received many battle woulds from that darned scrub oak! This one took us a bit to track down bu we prevailed! Signed and stamped the log and returned as found. All is well here. Thanks for placing this one for us all to enjoy! Now for a hot shower and beer!

Decided to go on a puzzle run and get some of my solved ones off the list. Enjoyed the puzzle and location - thanks for keeping this one going!

This one was on the way back to parking, kind-of.

We had the old coords and no cache to be found, but the old phone said to widen the search.

Looks like old container and log to me.

Thanks for keeping a fun cache in play!

BTY: this hill top is a pet resting area of sorts ( three crosses with tags on them and one colorful small headstone ) and someone has slept under the tree not long ago.

I had solved the original puzzle in November, but I found out it had been changed recently with a new CO & placement (that's what I get for finally being able to solve a puzzle!). We were out today and consolidated the cache into one. Thanks for letting me know about the changes.

Out for a quick hike and some caching. I was searching for the new container at first, but ended up finding what I think is the original container with the original log inside. Regardless, awesome puzzle, area, and cache. Thanks!
