This one is a short easy walk along the Big Wash creek.
Look for a big parking area off of Hwy 65 , the trail starts there.
The cache is an ammo can that has room for trading items and travel bugs.

You can reach this cache from either direction off of I-70 and return to either direction.

The trail continues up the canyon past the cache but it also crosses the creek in places and is difficult to travel when the creek is running.

According to GPS we were there, but it was no where to be seen. Nice area I'm sure we will be back for a hike.

For now Strike 1. We did everything possible except to turn the giant rocks over, but only because we couldn't budge them. We stepped off a 30 foot perimeter around GZ and searched everywhere but no cache found. This trail looks interesting to bring us back for another swing.

We've been in state for GeoWoodstock and are now continuing our trip as we cache, explore, and hike further west. We were the only vehicle in the parking lot on this very hot (100+ degree) afternoon. Made our way along the trail and found the cache after a short search at GZ. The creek next to the trail was barely a trickle. Wish we had the time to hike further up the canyon, but it was way too hot anyways. Thanks for adding to our adventure, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl
