Quick cache & dash on County Road 27E, a very scenic drive near Carter Lake.
Cache is a medium sized tin so bring items to trade! This is our second cache we have placed. It should be very easy to find. Original cache contents include a piece of geode, a hacky sack, a trackable geocoin, and an alien figurine. Come out and enjoy this beautiful drive in the foothills close to Carter Lake. Watch out for deer during fall and winter.

Today, after the Inquiring Minds event, I went caching with my caching buddies, @2lablovers . We roamed the areas west of Berthoud and grabbed a variety of cache types. Just as we left the event a storm kicked up and dumped on us. Pretty hard to see in front of us, but we made it. By the end of the adventure, the rain was barely a trickle. It was a lot of fun.
I wish the weather was better today. I bet the view is normally great from here. A little gray today, though. TFTC!

A fun name for this hide. I was looking around before I finally found the cache. I didn't trade anything but I signed the log.

Since I'm posting late, I think we were at this location earlier than jacobboulder and tracylhs. GanderGoose and I were very probably at the right spot, but when I started to move probable camo, I heard this...uh...rattling. Close by. Didn't see the rattlesnake, but OK, we're outta here! Glad the cache is still there, but I have no regrets about abandoning the search!!!

When EstesLynne distinctly heard the rattlesnake, we made our exit.

Quick find with tracylhs. Caching our way up to the NoCo Geo-Night Out #7. It’s hot today but still nice weather for caching. You don’t have to cross the barbed wire fence to get this cache. SL. TFTC!

Drive closed off and fence marked with No Trespassing so we didn’t. Looks like it may be beyond the fence.
