This cache is hidden on the East Evergreen Mountain Trail in Alderfer/Three Sisters Open Space Park. It is a mile hike one way from the parking lot. There are well marked trails to get to this cache. The container is a cylindrical cookie tin. It contains a few assorted trinkets.

What an afternoon! The sun is about to set behind evergreen mountain and I'm about to celebrate two February geocache at the ETH happy hour. Almost no other hikers out today. Saw a coyote on trail below right as I was writing this. Geodogs nearly took my arm off. Had to brace myself against some rocks to hold the dogs. Very tiring.

I’ve been hiking and running throughout 3 Sisters for years and never really noticed this huge rock formation. Very cool and fun to explore. Cache is in a nice warm spot that keeps the snow that has piled up elsewhere from doing so here. TFTC!

11:45 am. 2nd to find. Beautiful day, but the fact that there are many days without precipitation is troubling. especially if Evergreen Lake is your water supply. Nothing taken, nothing left. Thanks for the cache.

FTF@ 11:10am. 2nd FTF today!!! Spending the day with my youngest and doing what we love. Breakfast at Country Road Cafe, hiking and geocaching. Nice hike to this spot, but tough to reach.
