Richmil Ranch Open Space is a great place to go for a walk or run, with three miles of trails. Enjoy a stroll looking for this Bird House box along the southwest trail in the trees. Get off the beaten path..........

Birds nest in tree's and Richmil has plenty of tree's for nesting in. In the winter times we see large great horned owls and many different kinds of hawks. Smaller birds come in spring and take over the area after the larger birds of pray have left their nesting sites. Looking at eye level for a brown bird box, with shingled roof lid, see what you might find.

This cache is hidden at an Arapahoe County Park, Trail or Open Space. Here are some things to remember when visiting:
1) Park hours are dawn to dusk. Don't come after dark.
2) Wild animals, including coyotes and reptiles, may be present at this park. Please be careful.
3) There are no motorized vehicles on the trail.
4) Bring your camera. You never know what kind of beautiful images you may encounter.
5) Most of the County's geocaches are within walking distance of a shelter. So feel free to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the outdoors.
6) Enjoy! These parks, trails and open spaces were created for your benefit.
7) Snow may make things more difficult.
8) Bring your own pen.

Richmil Ranch is a new Open Space in Arapahoe County, this great open space has 3 miles of trails for public use. Many people like to walk dogs, ride horses and go for runs here.

What a great day for caching. Good friend GanderGoose had prepared an excellent plan for us, which we accomplished with no DNFs! Thank you for this placement ArapahoeCounty. This walk reminded me of the hikes I took back in Illinois as a kid.

On a geocaching adventure today on the plains with my good buddy, #1 Beefers, and my little buddy, Spartacus Geodog. Wow! This open is space is beautiful. We had a nice walk to the cache. The log book looks good. Nice cache. Gets a favorite point. Thanks for the placement ArapahoeCounty!

Neat hide! Had to clear the spiders and several caterpillars out if the hide to retrieve the log.
Thank you for the placement. Today's quest is day three of plains caching spirit quests and some power trailing.
